As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor, I have over a decade of experience working with teenagers, adults, and families. I currently offer both telehealth and in-person sessions in English and/or Spanish. Some of my sessions are held outdoors - a perfect setting for increasing awareness and encouraging growth. I also offer a six-session life coaching package, ideal for those experiencing burnout or other specific issues.
In addition, my work as Director of Behavioral Health and Wellness informs my interest in supervision, professional development and staff training, since organizations are only as healthy as the people who work there.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and international affairs from Colorado College, and my Master of Arts in clinical multicultural counseling at the University of Colorado Denver where I received the Outstanding Graduate Award from the Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education program.
I grew up in three cultures (Spanish, Cuban, and American) and married into a Mexican family. I understand first-hand how to integrate different parts of ourselves to feel at home in our bodies and in our society. My approach incorporates restorative practices, to help you emerge from the pandemic in a healthy, authentic, meaningful way.
